Imaging Services

Newport Imaging Center provides a wide variety of radiology and imaging procedures including MRI, CAT Scans, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Diagnostic x-ray procedures. In addition we offer screening examinations for breast and lung cancer and coronary artery disease.

All of the screening exams done at our Facilities are performed with ultra fast scanning CT techniques using state of the art equipment. Your exam is read by one of our Board Certified Radiologists who will carefully review the images and prepare a detailed report for your physician.

Should you be screened? Like any other medical procedure, there are risks involved and must be considered before undergoing an exam. Any screening exam must be requested by your doctor, so they may discuss your results in proper detail.

We use a Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) to electronically store your images. For your convenience and optimal viewing, we can provide you with a CD of your exam. Or if you prefer for a fee, you can have them placed on film. Please allow 24 - 48 hours for all filming requests.
